Women and Children’s Program

The Flourish Australia's Women and Children's Program is specifically designed to support mothers who face complex mental health issues, homelessness, and are at risk of their children being placed into care.

The program offers mental health, education, housing, childcare, and parenting support. Participants learn parenting skills, how to care for a baby, and experience the joys of motherhood.

Due to increasing demand and limited resources, we unfortunately turn away 6 out of every 7 mothers in need.

Without the program, more women would be on the streets or in unhealthy situations, perpetuating cycles of hardship for themselves and their children. The program hopes to expand with more villas to meet referral needs and avoid turning away families.
